Adrian Gahan

Before joining Sancroft in 2010, Adrian spent three years as Energy and Climate Change Policy Adviser to the Conservative Party, where he played a central role in the passage of the Climate Change Act and the development of policies to deliver a low carbon economy for Britain. Adrian also led on external relations between the Conservative Party and civil society, media, advocacy groups and business on energy and climate issues. Adrian read history, politics and business at University College Dublin and has an M.Phil. in Contemporary European Studies from the University of Cambridge, after which he worked with the Delegation of the European Commission to the United States in Washington DC and with the Policy and Regulatory Affairs team at BP Alternative Energy in London.
