One of the most serious environmental impacts of any major company is its use of transport. From fleet management to air travel to the often thorny issue of the company car policy, there are major environmental and cost savings to be made. There are many different and effective ways to improve the environmental performance of a fleet, from fitting catalytic converters to the use of alternative fuels, driver training and improved maintenance.
What we do
Sancroft advises on varying aspects of sustainable transport solutions. As part of the CR advice that we give we often consider how to ‘green’ company transport policy. We have an in depth knowledge of UK government policy on sustainable transport and the latest developments in thinking on the sustainable management of congested cities. We are also up to date on the most recent green technologies – from hydrogen fuel cells to LPG, fuel catalysts and retrofitted catalytic converters, and the UK grants available to those who are considering such options.
